Family Adventure – Day 3

Well Friday we basically hung out together. Barb went to get Val so she could work on the yard some more. I updated the blog as you can see. When she returned, we went through the box of pictures. I picked out a small stack that Michael will scan for me. We had lunch and she took Val back home. At 5:30 or so, we headed over to Discoveryland with Blair, Sebastian, and a friend of hers. Discoveryland presents a show of Oklahoma which is what we came to see. Before the show started, we watched an Indian dance which was cool, then a pony express reenactment. We then went to our seats. First was a song montage. Then they had folks from each state as they called them out, stand and do a ye haw! . Next a tribute to veterans. Then the show started. They did a fine job but by intermission, the clouds rolled in and the canceled the rest of the show. We zipped home, Blair dropped me off and I hit the sack.
